SLIDE CAL MOTORAF_INERTIA

1. Test overview.

This diagnostic allows to check for the Slide AF motor inertia.
For that, the system launches 5 times the cycle of verification of inertia. This cycle will repeat itself 5 times the following operations: Go to the AF position N ; once this position is reached, await 200ms then read the current position then N = N + 250 / 10 and go to the Slide EncoderAF N position etc.
If the inertia is incorrectly calibrated, the Slide AF motor may not function.

2. Test conditions.

This test relates to the Mounted slide gate inserted in the scanner.
The Mounted slide gate must be inserted in the scanner to carry out this test.
No slide is necessary for this test.
The acceptance of the test is automatic.
The inertia value is saved in the file im1500data.ini, in chapter FILM_CARRIER_MSLIDE, line AUTOFOCUS_INERTIA.

3. Pre-requirements.

None.

4. Test realisation.

Click on RUN to execute the test.
The scanner will launch cycles of Slide Cal MotorAF Inertia to determine the inertia value.
A the end, the end value is displayed on the screen. This value is saved.

5. Test acceptance.

No acceptance criteria for this test: the value found is the value saved.
The inertia value is about 8,0.
It should be noted that this value changes with time, the value saved in the file im1500data.ini is regularly updated.

6. Other affected tests.

If the inertia value used is not correct, tests made of one scanned image can be affected.

7. Trouble shooting.

None.
