1. Test overview.
This test checks the voltage delivered by the power supply.
For that, the software makes an analogical digital conversion of the voltage and checks its level.
The 4 used voltages are :
- 5V (red): for the electronic boards.
- 8V (orange): in particular for the reading of magnetic track APS.
- 17V (yellow): CCD power supply.
- 24V (green): for the motors
If there is a problem on one of the supply voltages, the functions concerned will not work anymore.
2. Test conditions.
This test relates to the scanner only.
No film carrier must be present in the scanner to carry out this test.
No film is necessary for this test.
The acceptance of the test is automatic.
No parameter is saved.
3. Pre-requirements.
None.
4. Test realisation.
Click on "
RUN" to carry out the test. The values of the 4 voltages will be shown on the screen, and according to the results, the test will be accepted or not.
5. Acceptation du test.
Le test est accepté si tous ces critères sont bons.
The value shown must be + / - 5% of the ideal numerical value.
- 5V (red): the ideal numerical value is 209 (value 255 corresponds to 6,1V).
- 8V (orange): the ideal numerical value is 204 (value 255 corresponds to 10V).
- 17V (yellow): the ideal numerical value is 209 (value 255 corresponds to 20,7V).
- 24V (green): the ideal numerical value is 204 (value 255 corresponds to 30V).
The test is accepted if all these criteria are correct.
6. Other affected tests.
If the voltages are slightly apart from the tolerances, no test will be really affected. On the other hand, if one of the voltages is zero, all the tests can stop functioning.
7. Trouble shooting.
If one of the power supplies is off : check the connectors on the power supply, otherwise change of power supply.
