1. Test overview.

This test allows to create the CD configuration which contains all the parameters linked to the scanner, its film carrier exposures and the file of the diagnostic results.
A installation manual is also copied, this allows the transfer of different files onto a DKS system.
For that, the configuration files of the scanner will be copied from the CD.
Without defined parameter, the scanner cannot function to its optimal capacity (recall: each scanner has its own configuration files, which are created by doing diagnostics).

2. Test conditions.

No film is necessary for this test.
The acceptance of the test is automatic.
No parameter is saved.

3. Pre-requirements.

• The tests of the film carriers inserted in the scanner have been tailored for the parameters to be recorded.
• a blank CD must be inserted in the reader.

4. Test realisation.

Click on RUN to execute the test. The following files, if they exist, will be copied from the CD.

• codSlide.ini
• im1500install.exe
• scanner_xx-xx-xxxx.txt

5. Test acceptance.

If the copying worked, the test is accepted.

6. Other affected tests.

None.

7. Trouble shooting.

If The test is rejected with the message " No CD or not blank CD " : check that a blank CD is inserted in the CD drive.
