1. Test overview.
This test is to check that the 2 LEDS at the front of the scanner functions correctly.
For this, the software will send an order to light up the LEDS in the 3 possible statuss (orange, green, red) and will ask the user to check if the LEDS have worked properly.
If there is an operational problem of the LEDS at the front, that can mislead the user of the scanner.
2. Test conditions.
This test relates to the scanner only.
No film carrier must be present in the scanner to carry out this test.
No film is necessary for this test.
The acceptance of the test is manual.
No parameter is saved.
3. Pre-requirements.
None.
4. Réalisation du test.
Click on "
RUN " to carry out the test. A message will appear requiring the user to follow the condition of each LED LED. Click on OK to start the sequence. At the end of the test , the user will have to confirm that the software followed the correct sequence.
This sequence is shown below:
- 2 LEDS switched off.
- Left one : UI LED illuminated green for 1 second.
- Left one : UI LED illuminated orange for 1 second.
- Left one : UI LED illuminated red for 1 second.
- Left one : UI LED switched off
- Right one : POWER LED illuminated green for 1 second.
- Right one : POWER LED illuminated orange for 1 second.
- Right one : POWER LED illuminated red for 1 second LED
- Power LED switched OFF
5. Test acceptation.
If the sequence seen by the user matches the sequence sent by the software, the test can be accepted.
6. Other affected tests.
None.
7. Trouble shooting.
If a LED does not light at all : There is perhaps a problem of connection between the LED LED and the card motor, or the LED is broken.
If the incorrect sequence is displayed : There could be a problem with the connection between the LED and the Motor PCB.
